Our Mission
ART Dance Camp is a dance educational program created by Kimberly Vrolijk. We aspire to provide a qualitative dance and performing arts education program on the island of Aruba. To inspire and motivate the children and (young) adults of Aruba. We want to encourage them to explore, experiment, and develop their talents through the art of dance and performing arts.
We aim to create opportunities enriching the Aruban art sector by bringing international creators and educators to the island. By creating mutual learning processes between participants, organizers and international / national teachers, we hope to create a safe environment to learn and grow.
Aruba is rich in culture and talents and home to many professional artists and art students who are living abroad because of the scarcity in opportunities and education on the island. ART Dance Camp desires to discover, inspire, guide and, shape talents on Aruba.
We are aware of what is missing in the cultural sector, and we believe in being the change we want to see.
